Now let’s say you have a span of 31 linear feet that you need to setup for different service purposes such as full service, self service or as carving stations. Well just by unlocking the safety cap located on the top of the post you can accomplish each task. Simply lift the glass panel just enough to release some of the pressure from the post then lift the cap Now the Glass panel is being held in by the opposite post allowing the operator to simply repeat the same procedure on that post.
Once both caps are released all the operator needs to do is decide where they need to have the shield positioned - whether it be Self serve, full service or anywhere in between. And this can all be done from one side of the case. Once you have decided which of the 10 positions you need the shield to be in, all you need to do is lift the panel slightly again releasing the pressure from the post and lock the cap and giving it a quarter turn allowing it to sit back down.
Now if you need the shields higher allowing for higher chafing dishes or cleaning then we provide you with our new self adjusting posts allowing the service operator to use the hand crank that comes with the mechanical system and lift both side at one time to the desired height .
